I grew up with a slow metabolism and a large appetite. I weighed over 200 pounds in the eighth grade and it’s safe to say I had no discipline when it came to my eating habits. There were even some weeks I wouldn’t make weight for football on a team of kids that were two years older than me. I was tired of feeling like garbage about my weight and not having any confidence. So I trained myself to eat the right foods. Keep the calories low, but eat foods that left me feeling full! I also had to exercise daily with a strong focus on speed and agility. Our town had remarkable coaches who truly cared! The coaches and trainers pushed me to my max and helped to shape me physically and mentally. Fast forward; I am in the best shape of my life, completed one of the toughest obstacle courses on the planet aka “The Tough Mudder”, and I have studied three different styles of martial arts. The instructors, coaches, and mentors throughout my life have helped give me an incredible outlook on physical fitness, mental toughness, and what it means to be a dedicated athlete. I am currently a personal trainer certified through the International Sports Sciences Association. I have a passion for helping people! Specifically, helping people achieve their goals.
